The Steel Thread Projects references a multitude of sources in order to document the actions of the 3/187th in the Republic of Vietnam. This includes: books; original US Army and US Government documents/records; interviews and conversations with Veterans and their families; personal collections of Veterans to include letters home, pictures and memorabilia as well as websites and other on-line research resources.

 

The Steel Thread Project has and will continue to conduct research at the National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, Maryland and St. Louis, Missouri.
